The DCR-TRV38 provides Advanced HAD CCD (Charged Couple Device) imagers with 1000k pixels for detailed images. An advanced version of Sony’s SteadyShot System controls a high range of shake and vibration frequencies to achieve an even higher level of smoothness without degradation of video like some other image stabilization systems. The Super NightShot Infrared system allows for optimum video performance in poor lighting. The 10X optical and 120X digital zoom brings the action close up from far away. All of these technological advances can be viewed through a 3.5" touch panel SwivelScreen precision color LCD (184k pixels), allowing you to watch what you're shooting from numerous angles.
You can navigate through the camcorder's menu system by touching the LCD screen.

The Memory Mode works with supplied 8MB Memory Stick Media for image storage.
Capture, store and share still images with up to 1152 x 864resolution.
With the TRV38's i.LINK DV interface even more images can be placed in DV related devices like capture boards, other camcorders and PCs.
You can even download images through USB streaming video.

The TRV38 comes with a variety of accessories including an AC-L15 AC Adapter/Charger,
NP-FM30 battery for hours of uninterrupted recording, a wireless remote control, and a stereo A/V cable.
